Dr. Appelbaum was born
and raised in South Africa, where in 1983, he graduated from the
Medical School of the University of Stellenbosch. After moving to
the United States, he completed his residency training in Family
Medicine at Valley Medical Center which is affiliated with the
University of Washington.
Dr. Appelbaum has been practicing Family Medicine for more than 20 years in South Africa, Canada, and the United States, and holds medical licenses in both the U.S. and Canada. He is married with two children and resides in Bellevue. When he is not attending his children’s soccer games, he enjoys running and keeping fit. “My approach to Family Medicine is to treat each person’s individual needs. I strive to maintain the physical as well as the emotional well-being of my patients and their families.” |
