Dr. Berkowicz was born
in South Africa, and graduated from the University of Cape Town
Medical School in 1973. She worked and trained in family
medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology and emergency
medicine in several countries including England and Bermuda. In
1993, she moved to the U.S. and her training has taken her to
the University of Texas for hyperbaric medicine and wound care,
as well as to the V.A. Hospital in Tacoma, Washington for a
fellowship in geriatrics.
Dr. Berkowicz joined Overlake Family Medicine in 2001, and has a special interest in energy medicine. She is married with two sons, and enjoys running, reading, kayaking, and spending time with her family. “I believe in the holistic care of each person including physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects.” |
