Dr. Riggers is a
graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and the University of
Washington School of Medicine. She completed her residency at
Tacoma General Hospital and Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in
Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Riggers is board certified in Family
Practice, and has special interests in women’s health,
pediatrics (including newborns), and diabetes.
A native of Western Washington, she has been in practice in the Puget Sound area since 1998. At the conclusion of her training she served as chief resident, and has also been a community instructor for residents in Family Practice in Tacoma. She practiced in the cities of Kent and Covington before joining Overlake Family Medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Riggers enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons, backpacking, camping, and gourmet cooking. “I look forward to partnering with patients to help them achieve their health care goals.” |
